The summers tend to be warm and humid throughout the Northeast. The average temperature in the northeast in the summer is between 63 degrees F and 74 degrees F (17 degrees C and 23 degrees F). The hottest month of the summer is July while August is the second hottest.

The fall is typically dry with cool temps throughout the Northeast. The average temperature in the northeast in the fall is between 46 degrees F and 57 degrees F (7 degrees C and 14 C). Peak foliage season in the Northeast is typically in mid-to-late October, depending on the weather that year.
